Remember that, unlike most packages to Antigua, ours includes excursions and the services of a retreat director.
What is included
Flights and taxes; the fuel surcharge of £156 current on 9 July 2008; transfers between Antigua airport and retreat house; half-board (bed, breakfast & evening meal, except on one day, when lunch will be provided instead of the evening meal) in an en-suite room at Mount Tabor for fourteen nights, with an additional night on the plane for the inbound flight; excursions as detailed on the programme; spring water, coffee and tea during the day; wifi internet access; the use of a washing machine; the services of the retreat-leader.
What is NOT included:
Travel between home and UK airport; lunches; dinner at OJ's on the last night of the retreat; drinks; personal expenses; any increase in fuel surcharges made from 9 July 2008 onwards; telephone; taxis; local gratuities (we recommend 300 Eastern Caribbean dollars, which works out at about £4 per day); local departure tax of $20 USor $50 EC (Eastern Caribbean); insurance - valid insurance is obligatory.
Flights
Choice of Gatwick or Manchester to Antigua on scheduled airlines (over eight hours outbound, a little less inbound).
For anyone wishing to travel from Dublin, we can arrange flights to and from Gatwick plus bed, breakfast and evening meal near Gatwick for the night of 22 January: supplement £200.
Accessibility
With the long trans-Atlantic flights, this trip is not for anyone frail. The house does not have a lift and all the bedrooms are on the first floor. The terrain in Antigua is generally fairly uneven. That said, we are not proposing route marches for this retreat-holiday!
