Antigua IGR dates prices and flights
Dates
The dates for individually guided retreats can be arranged to suit you, subject to availability. The official hurricane season is from June to November, so we recommend that, if possible, you go outside this period. As the flights are so long, we suggest you stay for more than a week if you can.
You are welcome to stay at the retreat house for a week's retreat and a few days' holiday if you wish.
Prices
The price of air-tickets to Antigua varies enormously with the date of flights. If you can be flexible over dates it will help us to keep the cost down. Guide price from the UK: from £1399 for ten nights at Mount Tabor (half board) plus one night on the plane. NO SINGLE SUPPLEMENT.
Flight prices go up as the date of departure approaches, so we buy air-tickets as soon as we receive bookings from clients. Because of the high cost of air travel to the Caribbean, we have to ask for a deposit of £599 on individually guided retreats to Antigua.
Flights
There are flights to Antigua from Gatwick and Manchester. You should book as far ahead as you can. Not all carriers fly every day of the week. Ring us on 01304 214789 to discuss your requirements.
Accessibility
The outward flight from the UK takes over eight hours and the return, aided by a tail wind, over seven hours, so this trip is not for anyone frail. The house does not have a lift and, although the bedrooms are very comfortable, they are all on the first floor. The terrain in Antigua is generally fairly rough.
