Retreat-Holidays
Poland: Programme
Retreat-leader:
Revd Patrick Sherring
Patrick is the Church of England Rector of Ingatestone and Fryerning in the Diocese of Chelmsford. He is a former school teacher who trained for the ministry in Cambridge. He also works as a ministry consultant and with Readers. Patrick loves travel and seeing how the faith has shaped the lives of people in different contexts. Part of his sabbatical in 2008 was spent in Jerusalem experiencing how the Orthodox Church celebrates Easter.
He will be assisted by
Mr Eddie Sagan.
Eddie is bilingual. Born in England of Polish descent, he lives in Yorkshire. He will (for the third year running) be on the retreat as a participant but also acting as interpreter and helping with excursions.
There will be a brief input session each morning, leaving you with thoughts for the day and Bible texts which relate in some way to that day’s activities. In the evening, there is another short session which offers the opportunity to reflect on the day and to spend some time in prayer together.
