Our retreat-holiday on the shore of the Sea of Galilee is not a busy pilgrimage, taking in as many sites as possible. It is a gentle, prayerful week in which we slow down and become aware that we are walking
on holy ground.
Each day, we shall focus on a key event in the life of Jesus beside or on the lake, asking the Holy Spirit to help us enter into those stories and be touched by them as never before. We aim to visit one key site and a quiet spot for prayer and meditation each day. There will also be plenty of opportunity to be convivial and so find Christ in one another.
